Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum Requirements:

A Qualification (or in the process of obtaining a qualification)

Experience in the business environment

IT skills - Proficient with Google and Microsoft Office (this is a non-negotiable)
Preferred requirements:

Consulting for JSE Listed Companies

Legal degree (or a business degree)

Admitted attorney

CSSA or similar governance qualification
Internship Opportunity:
To gain on the job work experience and training and undertake a journey to becoming a fully fledged Governance Consultant, specialising in the provision of meeting management services and providing corporate governance advice, under the mentorship and guidance of an experienced Governance Consultant.

Internship Description:
As a FluidRock Governance Consultant intern you have the opportunity to work alongside an experienced Governance Consultant in fulfilling the following duties:

The role of outsourced company secretary as per the FluidRock promise and engagement letter to the client/s within your portfolio. Including but not limited to;
-
Oversee the governance requirements of the Board and ensure compliance with the Companies Act, MOI and governance framework (including application of King IV™ recommendations) and advise the Board and Committees accordingly;

Meeting management (Meeting preparation, attendance, Minutes etc.)
-
Drafting of Resolutions and Corporate Governance related documents
-
Adhere to the relevant onboarding processes and procedures for existing and new clients;
-
Actively enhance the FluidRock offering in line with the strive for excellence;

Liaise with the FluidRock divisions, FluidRockers and clients to ensure we deliver on the FluidRock promise to clients;

Carry out any other support required.
