Statutory Co-ordinator

Band C - Consultant


Remuneration:

Dependent on inter alia experience, skill and fit.


Location:

FluidRock Pretoria Offices or as required at clients/other FluidRock offices.


Period:

Permanent (Three to six months probation period)

Qualifications:

Minimum requirement: CIS or similar governance qualification, minimum of 5 years’ experience in company secretarial environment, working knowledge of the Companies Act 71 of 2008 and dealing with CIPC.

Preferred requirements: Legal degree advantageous, experience in listed or state-owned environments, working knowledge of the Companies Act, working knowledge of e-SEC.


Job description:

Coordinate all current and new assignments by way of assisting each Statutory team member in keeping track of ongoing deliverables, due dates and planning calendars accordingly.

Ensure that client billings are strictly managed and monitored.

Overseeing overall maintenance of client hard copy and electronic records.

Act as central point of liaison between Statutory and other FluidRock teams.

Monitor, provide guidance and mentor Statutory team members in day to day requests from clients.

Upskill, mentor and train existing Statutory team members.

Support Statutory team on projects as and when required.

Assist Statutory team with marketing and social media initiatives (write articles, etc.)

Keep team updated with new developments within the corporate law and governance arena.

Prepare proposals to prospective clients.

Be the first level of escalation for complex assignments.

Take full responsibility for specified high profile client engagements.

Interpret, research and execute all complex client requests.

Drafting of high-level board and shareholder resolutions.

Ongoing liaison and relationship building with clients.

Dealing with CIPC.
