Futhi Mtoba is a trailblazing business leader and Chartered Accountant who became the first Black African woman partner at Deloitte South Africa, later serving as Chairperson. Her leadership spans across finance, corporate governance, and social advocacy, with a deep commitment to women’s empowerment, education, and anti-corruption. She has advised major financial institutions including Eskom and the South African Reserve Bank. Futhi’s impact extends globally through her participation in international forums, and she has received numerous accolades, including the UCT GSB Trailblazer Award (2024) and the AWCA Woman of Substance Award (2011 ) , recognising her lifelong commitment to excellence and ethical leadership.
