Sharon Constançon is an internationally recognised board evaluator, governance advisor, and CEO of Genius Boards, a firm specialising in high-impact board performance reviews and tailored board training. With over two decades of experience working with boards across sectors and jurisdictions, Sharon is known for combining strategic rigour with behavioural insight to drive lasting boardroom transformation.

She is a Chartered Director, Chartered Secretary, and MBA graduate. Sharon is an accredited board evaluator with the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland (CGIUKI) and is ISO 37000:2021 certified in the International Standard for Governance of Organisations. She also holds Chartered Membership of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (CISI).

Sharon lectures on Boardroom Dynamics for CGIUKI and serves as the Risk Faculty Lead for the Corporate Governance Institute, Ireland. Her expertise spans risk management, leadership development, and corporate governance, and she is a trusted mentor to Chairs, Directors, and Company Secretaries.

She has chaired FCA-regulated financial services boards, led governance and conduct committees, and contributed to significant regulatory reviews, including the Brawn Review submitted to the UK’s House of Lords. Sharon also serves on the Court and Membership Committee of the Worshipful Company of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators and is a member of CISI’s International Committee.
