The amended Companies Act and Companies Regulations of South Africa which have been signed into law, are bringing about significant changes to the way businesses are governed and regulated in the country.
In addition, the media announcement in early June 2023 by Trade and Industry Minister Ebrahim Patel, that the DTI intends to finalise the Companies Amendment Bill in Cabinet within three months, calls for further analysis of the Amendments.
